I have been to the Inn seven or eight times for conferences and have loved each experience. The staff is kind and attentive. The room is always clean and well taken care of, and the campus is beautiful.
I have been to the inn on many occasions as an ambassador for my events, and I have to say it is exceptional every time I come. The food, service, and atmosphere has always been some of the best experiences I have had, and it makes the time I spend worth it. I wanted to give props to my servers today: Crystal and James. Well-spoken, charismatic, and always carrying smiles, they gave exceptional service swiftly and gracefully, and provided conversation that helped continue to raise the atmosphere. I am truly grateful to have met those 2 and hope to see their great faces again. I truly recommend coming to this place and enjoy yourselves
Landscaping was amazing! It was nice staying right on the campus. Rooms were comfortable and the restaurant/bar was a pleasant surprise, great bar with a nice bourbon selection. Breakfast buffet was $16 and there were lots of options, we got one plate to go to our room and it was enough to share. Solid coffee in the morning in the lobby. Fitness center had brand new equipment. Made for a great stay when delivering our son to VT for his freshman year. Wildlife right outside our window too!
Great stay. Super convenient for a visit to Virginia Tech. Was able to park and just walk over to the visitor center. Hotel looks pretty cool. The room was standard...nothing fancy. But it was clean and spacious, beds were nice, etc. I'd stay here again. I imagine the prices fluctuate, but when I stayed the price was better than all the Marriotts!
Staying here was great! Really convenient in distance to Downtown Blacksburg and Virginia Tech! The building is split into a hotel, restaurant (Preston's), and a conference/business area. The rooms were very spacious and accessible for those who need. Comfortable beds, great TV, plus a mini-fridge and coffee machine. Bathrooms were pretty spacious. Staff at the front desk are extremely kind and helpful. The 24 hour gym is good as well. Breakfast is not included.
If you have business at VT, this is the place to stay. Small enough feel to be homey. Rooms were good (speakman shower heads - if you know what I’m talking about, then you know). Restaurant was solid (Cobia was delicious!). Staff was very attentive and friendly!
Beautiful facility! I can't speak to the hotel side but we were there for a VT information session on the conference room side. We were provided with a nice snack bar for our session. Facility was clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays.
We hosted an event on the property and the staff and service was spectacular. Everyone was very accommodating. Special shout out to the young man named James that took care of us! He was out of the way and somehow always available when we needed.
